We live and breathe for the spirit of GS.

We share the adventure.

Caution, contagious! Wherever your journey takes you and whoever accompanies you, the GS ambassadors are spreading the spirit of GS around the world. They fascinate with their adventures. They excite with their tales. And with their courage they inspire you to go out and discover the unknown.
We can only introduce a few here, because more and more of you are becoming infected and being carried away by the spirit of GS.

The GS has opened up a whole new world for me and changed my life completely. ”

The GS man from Down Under.

The GS man from Down Under.

The GS is perfect for adventures down under – asphalt, mountains, rivers and deserts. An ideal terrain for Miles Davies, the former Marketing Manager of BMW Motorrad in Australia. He knows his homeland's GS community inside and out. It is thanks to him that the Spirit of the GS has become so popular in Oz. Motorcycling is a way of life for Miles, or "a lifestyle" as he calls it. Miles dared to do what no other had done before him: He was the first rider to participate in the Finke Desert Race on a BMW R 1200 GS, one of the largest Australian motorsport events – a real extreme rally. And the experienced GS Rider made it to the finish in an excellent time. Miles also crossed the Simpson Desert with dozens of GS riders; 1100 sand dunes over 550 kilometres. Miles is an instructor with heart and soul. He taught numerous GS owners perfect offroad driving during several days of training and competed with them a number of times on the GS Safari Enduro in Australia.
